Summary: Aiba and Sho have been fated to meet and fall in love with each other. But does love enough to overcome whatever future has store for them?

Disc.: I will don't own the cute sakuraiba, any of arashi even we don't own GACKT… *pout*

Note: based on eqamyra ’s fanvideo with the same title but we change a little in it.

 

Chapter 1:

 

Sho couldn’t decide whether he was rather nervous or rather excited as he stood in front of the small entertainer company’s door. After numerous auditions finally he was accepted here and he was happy with it even if this wasn’t big or famous but here he’ll be able to do what he likes and this was what mattered after all. He took a deep breath, fixed his bag on his shoulder then turning the doorknob he entered.

 

“Sumimasen!” he called when he found none at the entry hallway.

 

He didn’t need to wait long before running footsteps sounded and a young man around Sho’s age appeared running from the corner stopped just in time before he fall straight into Sho’s arms.

 

“You’re Sho, right? Right? Tell me, you are him!” the other guy said excitedly leaning close to Sho’s face – which pulled back a little at this, taken aback by the other’s behavior.

 

“I… guess…? My name is Sakurai Sho. I…” Sho introduced himself but before he could say anything else the other guy cheered victoriously and wrapped him in a tight hug.

 

“Yatta! I was soooo excited ever since Yamamoto-san said you’ll come!” the other guy said with a huge, bright smile on his face when he finally let go of Sho. “I’m Aiba Masaki, by the way. You can call me Masaki or Aiba-chan, whatever you feel like. You’ll be…”

 

“Aiba-kun! Would you mind finally letting Sakurai-kun come in?” another man came looking at the guy named Aiba slightly scolding.

 

“Hai!” Aiba said pouting and stepped out of Sho’s way to let him in.

 

Sho couldn’t hold back a smile seeing Aiba’s pouting face as he walked past him and stepped towards the other man.

 

“Konnichiwa, Yamamoto-san. Starting from today… yoroshiku onegaishimasu!” he said bowing.

“Same here, Sakurai-kun, yoroshiku… Now, come on in!” Yamamoto said with a smile and lead Sho in the office. Aiba bounced after them grinning widely, his sulking long forgotten.

 

“This young man here, as you know already, is Aiba Masaki-kun. He’ll be your partner. Also he’ll show you around later. He’s a bit clumsy so I’m counting on you, Sakurai-kun to discipline him a little…” Yamamoto said jokingly.

 

“Oi! Yamamoto-san! Don’t say embarrassing things! I’m not clumsy!” Aiba protested pouting his lips again and waved his arms… tipping Sho’s glass of water from the movement…

 

“Ooops…” he said blushing, and quickly grabbed some tissue papers to wipe up the liquid. “Okay, maybe I’m little clumsy…” he said stealing a glance from Sho.

 

Sho on the other hand tried really hard not to start laughing at this scene. His slight nervousness disappeared long ago, mostly thanked to Aiba’s carefree, open personality. He swallowed back his laughter with some difficulty before opened his mouth to say something.

 

“It’s okay, Aiba-kun. It can happen with anybody…” he said and helped him clean up the mess on the table. “By the way, I’m looking forward for working together from today on…” he added with a smile.

 

“Me too!” Aiba chirped happily.

 

“I’m glad you two get along this well then I’m leaving the rest at you, Aiba-kun!” Yamamoto said then nodding his head he left the two singers alone.

 

“Let’s see what should we do now…?” Aiba mumbled under his breath his eyes scanning the room. “Oh, yeah! Yamamoto-san fixed our schedule for the week. Here!” Aiba picked up a folder from the near-by table and handed it to Sho.

 

“Thank you…” Sho said smiling and immediately opened it to see what’s waiting for him.

“There’s nothing much yet…” Aiba said almost apologizing. “Mostly rehearsals… But it will change for sure! Just wait till they’ll know about… Wait, what’s our name?” Aiba cocked his head to the side and looked at Sho with a frown on his face.

 

“Our name?” Sho asked back looking at Aiba; he had no idea what the other boy was talking about.

 

“Yeah, our name. We need a name, our duo needs a name. We can’t be Sakurai Sho and Aiba Masaki… That’s lame…” Aiba said with a complaining tone and folding his arms above his chest he tapped his foot to the floor obviously thinking hard.

 

“Oh, you’re right!” Sho nodded understanding. “Now you mention it… But actually I never really thought about something like this…” he admitted with a faint embarrassed blush coloring his cheeks.

 

“It’s okay, Sho-chan! Just leave it to me!” Aiba said grinning at Sho reassuringly.

“Wait, Sho-chan?” Sho asked kind of shocked at the addressing.

 

“What’s wrong with that Sho-chan? We’ll be together almost 24/7 from now on, I thought, it’s okay to call you by your given name…” Aiba’s tension obviously dropped at this.

 

“That’s okay, but Sho-chan?” Sho asked again. He wasn’t some girl to be called Sho-chan!

“Why? Sho-chan’s cute, you need a cute name… But if you don’t like it…” Aiba said sulkily.

Sho’s eyes widened he didn’t want to make Aiba sad. Let alone bitching about their work relationship and possibly friendship before they even actually start working together!

 

“No, no, I didn’t say that! Sho-chan is just fine…” he said a bit hesitantly but this small detail slipped Aiba’s attention cause his face lit up happily immediately.

 

“Hontou? Yay!” he said grinning again. “Oh! I got it! Sakuraiba!” he cried out.

 

“Saku…rai…ba.. what’s that?” Sho asked confused by Aiba’s sudden outburst.

 

“Sakuraiba. Our name! Sakurai and Aiba put together and viola! Sakuraiba!” Aiba explained. “So? What do you think?” he asked enthusiastic.

 

“Eh… I…” Sho started scratching his nape doubtfully.

 

“You better don’t let him choose your name…”

 

At the voice Sho turned toward the door where two other men stood. One of them had a skinny form with a smug smirk on his face while the other had spiky hair and a round sleepy face.

 

“Great timing as always…” Aiba muttered under his breath. “Sho-chan, meet the infamous Ohmiya SK!” he said gesturing toward the pair.

 

"Hello nice to meet you both I am Sakurai Sho." Sho stand up and bow to them a little them smile when the person with sleepy face smile to him first.

 

"Hajimemashite. My name is Ohno Satoshi, yoroshiku."

 

The skinny person wrapped his arms around Ohno's waist tightly and said, "And I am Ninomiya Kazunari." He planted a kiss on Ohno's chubby cheeks.

 

"Hey… Nino naughty as always... Don't do stuff like that in front of Sho-chan." Aiba grab Sho's hand suddenly and made him step one step further from the other duo.

 

"Naah... He must get use to it from now on, since he will work with us in this company." Nino smirked.

 

"Still…" Aiba insist then talk again. “Just don't do it."

 

"Well, I am free to do what I want… Right, Toshi." He planted another kiss on Ohno's cheek. Ohno didn't react much just nodded his head. It is seems like this is so normal to happen between them.

 

"Plus it is just a kiss; I didn't get naked in front of him or something."  Nino continued.

"Oi, oi! Cut it off, Nino." Aiba put his hands on Sho's ears so he could not hear more of Nino's words.

 

Sakurai Sho was so confused about what going on here and... 'Why Aiba is covering my ears? … I am not a baby'

 

"Aiba-chan, it is ok, I am an adult you know." He smiled to Aiba.

 

Aiba blushed and took his hands off from Sho's ears.

 

"Ahh... I... sorry, I didn't know what I was doing." He giggled a little, getting embarrassed.

"Hahaha.. You are just could get a doctorate in embarrassing yourself, Aiba Masaki." Nino laughed a lot.

 

"Nino~~~!" Aiba whined cutely and pouted his lips while he sat on the couch.

 

"Now, now... It is enough, let Sakurai-san talk a little." Nino said then looked at Sho. "Do you really like the name that, that clumsy idiot gave to your duo?" Nino pointed the pouted figure on the couch.

 

"Nino… Stop bullying me, will you?" Aiba whined some more.

 

"Tsk… but it is fun to do that. Hahaha... Anyway, will your answer finally, Sakurai?"

Sho scratched his nape again and thought.

 

"I guess… It is a good name, I mean… I never did that before, think of a name, so I will go with Sakuraiba..." Sho answered calmly then looked at Aiba with a smile.

 

"Yatta~~~! See, see? He liked the name!" The cheerful guy jumped from the couch and kept jumping until he reached Nino. "Beside your name is Ohmiya SK… It is the same method you just put both of your last name together to get it."

 

"Okay… you win this time, mister big-sunshine-smile... Let's go, Toshi! It is our rehearsals time." The Ohmiya duo walked out of the room holding each other hands.

 

"Gomen... about what happen just now, Nino always acts like a brat." Aiba said looked at Sho.

 

"Ah... It is ok Aiba-chan, no problem at all."

 

"Nino is younger than Ohno by 3 years, but Ohno really doesn’t talk a lot. He’s always just spaced out as you could see just now."

 

"Yeah, they had a gap between their personalities." Sho commented.

 

"But still they make a very good duo." Aiba walked near Sho and grab his shoulder. "I want to make our duo perfect too, Sho-chan." He smiled cutely to Sho then let go of his shoulders.

 

"Ahh… you have sloppy shoulders, that is unique… and I read in your CV that you could write rap… Amazing!"

 

"Yeah... I like to write rap a lot." Sho answered.

 

"Ahh... but I am not that good in rapping." Aiba looked down then suddenly he looked up at Sho's face. "Then, you could sing our rap parts; you must be good at it too, right?" Aiba change his mood and cheer up in quick base.

 

"Yeah, I could do that, I am not bad at rapping." Sho rubbed his hair.

 

"Jyaa, let me show you around." Aiba smiled at his new partner and walked toward the door. Sho just nodded his head and walked after the cheerful guy.

 

Aiba showed the employee around the company with a big smile greeting everybody in his way. It is seems like he knew every single person here, he just knew how to make new friends quickly, just like how he started the friendship between him and Sho.

 

"So, we are done for today." Aiba said cheerfully almost jumped around. "Want to go out drink something with me?" Aiba asked.

 

"Uhmm… let make it in other day, I feel tired... Gomen." Sho excused himself.

"Okay..." Aiba just pouted cutely.

 

By this conversation the first day at work for Sakurai Sho finished peacefully. He walked to his apartment and slept with his memories of his first day and about his duo partner, Aiba Masaki.
